What would you do with 20 million?

money

I wouldn't advise asking Aaron Rogers; he only knows what to do with $680k.

What is this you say?

Brett Favre has recently announced to anyone that will listen that the Packers are willing to pay him $20 million NOT to play. So while Rogers is playing his heart out spilling his blood, sweat, and tears onto Lambeau Field for a measily $42.5k a game, Favre will be sitting at home, in his comfy heated La-Z-Boy, earning $125k a game.

Mom, Favre's half is bigger.

If I was Aaron Rogers I'd be a bit peeved, especially since we all know how irritating it is to find the incompetent co-worker sitting next to you makes more than you because they've 'Been Here Longer'. In this case Favre has been around longer as Rogers has only played 7 games in his short 3 year NFL career while Favres has 257 games in 17 years under his belt.

Problem is we aren't talking apples to apples for them to both be playing with one making more than the other. One gets to sit in a comfy chair for almost 3 times as much, even injured players have to suit up and be on the sidelines.

Sing Fat Lady Sing! "It's Over!"

Brett made a decision to retire, I know its been unbearable for him during this long 1.5 month retirement (HAH!), but he needs to man up and stick to his decision. He obviously doesn't need the money and maybe it is all about 'just playing football', but there are leagues for old men that he can throw game changing interceptions to.

I still think superstars are good for football. There's just not enough of them, and they make the sport more fun to watch. Circumstances aside, Favre is good for the NFL.

Looks like Favre is reporting to camp today... he no longer has the ability to 'veto' a trade.. Lets see where he ends up..
