at 12:11am on a friday evening after a few carbonated beer-like beverages, i need something to hyrdate myself so i don't wake up tomorrow with a monster hangover. i reach into the fridge and grab a
visoda.
thats when i had another one of my brainless epiphonies. this non-carbonated sugar water is passing itself off as a soda? well, the catch is that it is chocked full of body-revitalizing vitamins and minerals. i'd permalink to all of their marketing clutter, but the entire site is in flash. poorly implemented flash.
what exactly IS a soda, you ask? well, in case common sense is fleeting you, as mine is at this hour:
1. a. Any of various forms of sodium carbonate.
b. Chemically combined sodium.
2. a. See carbonated water.
visoda is not carbonated. instead, it is a, "vitamin and mineral supplement," containing the red flag statement of, "shake me good!"
"the blue bottle keeps the vitamins and minerals from being exposed to too much light, which could reduce their potency." -- visoda website
how does powder lose it potency, besides the obvious sitting in my fridge for two days?
flame off.
