that is the faucet of commerce.

unfocused, tainted, distorted..

you spend all of your work time building an elaborate invention because your responsibilities only require five hours per week of actual work. you get some feedback and the response is typically along the lines of how you should focus more on your responsibilities.

stay off the radar. bring your psp to work. read about terrorist america, muffin recipes.. google your mom..

do you ever wonder why people get burned out with their corporate jobs? i will tell you why. because people have corporate jobs to fill in gaps. the trick is to look like you are working during the eight hours a day that you are there, when you only really do fifteen minutes of actual work per day.

people laugh at office space. i never realized that it was all true. fuck your business plans, proposals, prototypes, mock-ups, diagrams, spreadsheets, graphs and analyses. i'd rather make a plan that works, even if it only takes an hour to put together, and go build it.

i keep talking about my dreams and how i'd love to start a consulting business, run my own show, generate leads, and build timely, elegant robust IT solutions.

one of these mornings, hopefully after one of those enlightening nights of drinking (you know the ones.. when you feel like you can take on a charging bull), i'll get it all together. i've got my idea, my one hour of planning. i've got my resources, tools, knowledge, creativity. i even have a little bit of money saved up. what the hell am i waiting for?

Its not until you lose everything that you are free to do anything
